Heartbreak is a wonderful muse. Her painful whispers inspire the most glorious passions.

First I want to say I am proud of my oshimen Sae Miyazawa. Her decision to leave AKB and Team K is shocking but not surprising. It is adventurous, spontaneous and a huge gamble but that is who Sae is. If it works out for the best it will be awesome for Sae, so I will support her and SNH48 as well as continue to support AKB and Team K.

Now that doesn’t change the fact I am upset she is leaving. Sae was the reason I discovered AKB48. In fact the most honest description of my AKB fanship is “I was a Sae Miyazawa fan first and then became an AKB48 fan”. But since discovering AKB48  I have grown to love and respect this group. Individually the members are inspiring, collectively they are amazing. That is why Sae’s leaving is so heartbreaking to me. But I have no choice but to accept it and deal with it the best way I know how.

I am going to draw: another Sae Miyazawa portrait, The Twin-Towers, another SaeYuki, maybe a SaeYuko and definitely The Team K Trio, Sae, Sayaka and Yuko.

These will not interfere with my AKB48 portraits. I will draw them alongside The List. One great thing about being an artist, we are tortured souls but we have the ability let everyone else know it.
