The Team K Seishun Girls are Sae Miyazawa, Sayaka Akimoto and Yuko Oshima. Three senior members of AKB48 who are highly respected and revered by the younger members. Each of them has a unique personality and qualities that make them exemplar Senpai to their Kohai. This is 1/3 of a three piece illustration.
Yuko Oshima is the current Center of AKB48. A confident professional yet outspoken and carefree in nature Yuko symbolizes a new idea of Japanese woman. Independent and ambitious, she leads AKB48 into a broadening future. I drew Yuko wearing a more revealing version of her HEAVY ROTATION costume. On a side note, Yuko is wielding a modified MK-48 light machine gun.

AKB48 is a female idol group that has achieved enormous popularity in Japan, to the point of being characterized as a social phenomenon. The group has 64 members, ranging in age from early teens to mid-20s. Produced by Yasushi Akimoto, it is one of the highest-earning musical acts in the world, with 2011 record sales of over $200 million in Japan alone.

The AKB48 members are wearing costumes inspired by the costumes designed for the anime AKB0048.
